****UNUSED 26 sq ft (2.5 sq meter) titanium automatic chamber filter press for filtering suspension having 10-500 Kg/cu meter (.65-31.5 lbs/cu ft) solids content. Capable of performing in sequence the following operations: filtration, 1st cake pressing, cake washing, 2nd cake pressing, cake air drying and cake discharge. Filter press plates closing and clamping by (2) hydraulic cylinders acting in parallel on the (2) sides of a central hydraulic operated mech fixing wedge. Filtering area 2.5 sq meter (27 sq ft). Chamber volume: cake capacity total 0.11 cu meter (3.9 cu ft). (6) filtering plates. Max thickness of cake 35mm (1 3/8"). Max operating pressure 16 Kg/sq cm (228 psi). Operating temps: max -80 deg C (176 deg F); min -5 deg C (41 deg C). Hydraulic powerpak pressures: 150 Kg/sq cm (2130 psi) - plates clamping; 20 Kg/sq cm (284 psi) - valves operating. Blowers are often rated according to the flow - Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM). - Centrifugal blowers are best for high volume and high pressure applications. Centrifugal blowers operate at speeds of 3,500 RPM or higher.
- Exhaust fans are blowers designed to move air. The fan blades can be straight, forward-curved or backward curved depending on the type of application.
- Rotary blowers are positive displacement type blowers. Many times pneumatic conveying systems that move dry powders are powered by rotary blowers.
