Product Description770 lbs/hr, 4,800 CFM, 304SS Micron Purverizer/Dryer Model MDV-4. With delumper, live bottom feed bin, Micron/Hosokawa pulverizer/dryer/classifer, and gas fired hot air heater(inert). Designed 770 to 925 Lbs/Hr, of 50% solids feed, drying to an end product moisture content of 4%, 0.46 Specific Gravity, and partical size of 100 to 325 mesh. Inert heating gas inlet temperature is 300 degrees F(149 deg. C); Heating gas outlet temperature is 192 degrees F (90 deg C); Heating gas flow rate is 4,800 SCFM (21, 390 lbs.hr; Maximum Thermal Capacity is 60,700 to 81, 300 BTU/Min; Product outlet Temperature is 90 to 110 degrees F. Con-current air flow design. System has PLC digital controls. The Hosokawa Micron pulverizer/dryer/classifier is 304SS, 43.3 " dimeter x 153" high, designed for 14.2 psig, with (2) 32" x 24" access doors. Pulverizing section, is driven by a 50 HP 3/60/460V motor, with knife hammer rotor, 600 rpm, 39.4" diameter; Classifying section is driven by a 10HP 3/60/460V motor, 45 to 450 rpm rotor speed, with an Parametrics adjustable speed variable frequency AC drive controller. This system originally designed for crystals that have been de-watered through a centrifuge(not included). Crystals are dropped from product bins, into a 304SS Jacobson delumper, which discharges into 100 cu ft 304LSS live bottom bin, 60" diameter x 54"SS. The bin discharges into a S304SS Vibrascrew feeder, rated 29lbs/cu ft, 770 lbs/hr, 16.4 to 164 rpm with a 3" diameter screw. This feeds into the bottom of the Hosokawa Micron pulverizer/dryer/classifizer, and remains in the dryer until the desired particle size is met. The product finess is accomplished by changing rotor speed of the classifer and air flow. The hot air flows enter the bottom of the dryer with the product con-currently. The dryed particals are discharged through a classifier at the top of the dryer and into a collection system (not included)
