| Product Description | 50 sq ft Blaw Knox 304LSS thin film evaporator system. Roto-Vak Mdl. Mfd by Buflovak, SN 15216. Rated 15 psi and full vac int @ 400 deg F, 165 psi @ 400 deg F jkt. ASME code constructed, NB stamped. Sanitary construction. Rotor underdriven by a 20 HP, 3/60/220/440 volt mtr w/UL label, 480 rpm rotor speed. Unit has external upper & lower bearings, mech seals on shaft. Unit has 3" feed port and a 10" x 24" discharge into a centrifugal vapor/liquid separator. Separator is 304SS, 40" dia x 68" str side w/welded dished top, 36" deep cone btm. Openings in the separator: top 1-8"; side 1-18" w/cover & sight glass, 10" x 24" tangential; btm 1-3" discharge. W/system is 565 sq ft, 304LSS shell side, CS head, horiz condenser with 3/4" OD x 18 bwg. 304LSS tubes, 143" long. 6 pass tube side. 18" dia 304ELC SS shell 161" overall length. CS channels. Unit designed for 30 psi & full vac @ 400 deg F shell side; 100 psig @ 400 deg F tube side. Openings: shell 1-10", 1-3"; channels 2-4" one head, 2-3/4" other head. Mfd by Patterson Kelly. Also w/unit is an 81 sq ft aftercondenser. Mfd by Graham, 304SS shell side, CS tube side. Unit rated 50 psig/full vac @ 150 deg F shell side, 75 psig @ 150 deg F tube side. ASME code constructed. 8" dia shell, 8' long tubes, 9'11" overall length. The feed pumps are Moyno rotary pumps: (1) Type SSQ, Frame 2L, 3" x 2", driven by 1 1/2 HP Reeves varidrive 3/60/220/440 volt. The other is Mdl 1L3, Type SSQ, driven by 3/4 HP motor 3/60/220/440 volt, 1725 rpm. Addl equipment in the system includes 10" dia x 20' high 304SS column: 22" dia x 46" str side, weld dish top and btm tank and 4 gpm x 75' TDH, 1x1.5 Goulds SS pump, 1/2 HP, 3/60/220/440 volt motor. System originally designed for 18-22% emulsified polymer feed, 1380 lbs of water evaporation per hour. |
