| Product Description | Baker Perkins Mdl MP125 twin screw cross extruder. SN 60082. 4:1 L/D barrel ratio having 4.908" dia 1-stage counter rotating screws fabricated from Duranickel and 2-zone Xaloy 306 lined barrel which was steam or oil heated and water cooled. Extruder feed opening is rectangular on center and measures 7 3/8" x 7 3/4". Extruder gear reducer has 6:1 ratio allowing for a max screw speed of 300 rpm based upon an 1800 rpm motor input. Gear reducer rated at 250 HP at 500 rpm. Centerline height of extruder is nominally 39". Extruder was driven by direct connected 75 HP, DC motor (not included). |
