| Product Description | 12'3" (3.74 meter) OD, (9'10" (3 meter) inside refractory) x 86' (26.3 meter) long CS direct fired rotary kiln. Rated capacity 3,300 ton/yr. Mfd by Babcock Krauss-Maffei. Temp 1200 deg C - 1300 deg C. Shell thickness 20mm, 114mm thick heat insulation lining and 250mm thick refractory. SS lifters and cast refractory lifters. Dual fuel (natural gas/oil) direct fired burners. Girth gear driven by variable speed drive, 1.48 rpm max. Unit has air driven emergency drive, .145 rpm max. Air supplied by diesel engine driven compressor. Kiln equipped w/on-board control panel used to sequence the actuation of the air injection valves and control the fans. Gas consumption kiln 6.6 cu meters/S, afterburner 3.8 cu meter/S. Steam fed via rotary coupling to manifolds mtd on outside of kiln shell and feed end. Controlled by remote operated valves which supply (7) zones along axis of shell. |
