Used Kilns and Used Calciners

Kilns and Calciners are high temperature process furnaces having a cylindrical shell, lined with a refractory brick to prevent overheating of the steel shell.

Kilns and Calciners are typically rated from 700 degrees F to 1400 degrees F – much higher temperature than a dryer.

This is typically a continuous process, where the feed enters the kiln at one end and tumbles through as the kiln rotates, and is discharged though a cooling or quenches section.

Kilns can be indirect fired, direct fired, electrically heated, gas heated, oil heated - and have a variety of feed and discharge configurations.
