 Brief Overview
The DMA Flash Still Process consists of a Nickel sparger column followed by a 304LSS flash still which operates under a vacuum. The sparger column basically reduces the load on the flash still process by first performing a crude separation. The flash still is a single stage vacuum flash evaporator designed to operate at 3 mm Hg absolute. This equipment was previously used in the Procter & Gamble Amines Plant in the United States

Alternative uses for the DMA Flash Still process include the evaporation of water or light organics from any organic stream, which is quite common in the chemical industry. This system can also remove color bodies from materials.

The Honeywell 3000 process control system and program are available with this process, as is all necessary documentation (equipment files, P&IDs, PFDs, operating manuals, etc.). All pressure vessels have National Board numbers, and spare parts are available for most equipment. The plant has been properly cleaned of all chemicals. This site is very accessible by road and rail. Equipment can be barged from the local docks only a few miles away on a major river.
