Part of 145MM lbs/year Tertiary Amines Plant, stock #600448

 Brief Overview

Ozonated material is produced by combining ozone gas with any organic material, such as alkenes and alkynes. A chemical reaction occurs between the ozone gas and the organic material resulting in a compound called ozonide. The ozonide acts as a free radical catalyst to start the reaction for all the molecules. This equipment was previously used in the Procter & Gamble Tertiary Amines Plant in the United States.

Alternative uses for the Ozonation process could include ozonation as water treatment for drinking water, pool water, or even waste water treatment.

The Honeywell 3000 process control system and program are available with this process, as is all necessary documentation (equipment files, P&IDs, PFDs, operating manuals, etc.). All pressure vessels have National Board numbers, and spare parts are available for most equipment. There is no asbestos in the plant, and it has been properly cleaned of all chemicals. This site is very accessible by road and rail. Equipment can be barged from the local docks only a few miles away on a major river.
