Process steps/main equipment:-coffee beans (Arabica) feeding into the system-impurities separation-(2) roaster 300kg /hr roasted beans ( batch 9-16 minutes),mfd Ferd.Gothot,type Rapido,heated directly by natural gas burner-impurities separation-(3) Probat roll mill,two sets of water cooled rolls,removes shell and mills the beans,capacity total 1.7 t/powder per hr -packing plant (pouches 100g,250g,500g,vac packing,packing under nitrogen,cartoon packing,packing into cans)
Vaporization (extraction by steam) of coffee beans (Robusta)
Process steps and main equipment:-coffee beans fed into a 3 cbm SS Nautamix where mixed with steam-impurities separation-(2) extractor 3cbm and 4 cbm,SS, smell and taste removed from the beans by hot pressurized steam-impurities separation-Ecken ,Germany,rotary vac dryer,SS,vessel about 5 m long x 3 m dia.Vaporized beans dried in the dryer.-pilot vaporizer available for product testingBeans from vaporization/extraction to roaster.
Vaporization – 0.4 MPa, 145°C
