The 825 tpd Urea Plant is designed based on a Split Flow & Full Condenser consisting of carbon dioxide HP Stripping technology.The specific characteristic of the process is the High Pressure Vapor Split at the outlet of the HP Stripper and the Full Condensation feature of the HP Condenser.A brief summary of the process description is described below to introduce the basic aspects of design and operation of the most important items of equipment in the process.The urea process sections are listed below:
- Carbon dioxide compression and ammonia pumping- Urea Synthesis- Purification & recovery sections- Vacuum concentration & condensation (for AdBlue)- Vents absorption- Process condensate desorber- Auxiliary Systems (closed drain and blow down)

Carbon Dioxide Feed:
Composition (dry basis)-CO2 99.8 % wt min.-Nitrogen 700 ppm wt-Hydrogen (*) 300 ppm wt-Methanol 100 ppm wt-CO + CH4 20 ppm wt max.-Argon 20 ppm wt max.-Water saturated at 86°C and atmospheric pressure-Pressure atm-Temperature 86 °C max.(*) Hydrogen removal reactor shall be de3signed considering an hydrogen content of 0.6 % vol.
