The process of this plant is the research result of UHDE Company, the oxidation pressure is 0.45 Mpa, and the absorption pressure is 1.1 Mpa.
The external liquid ammonia is evaporated to 0.52 Mpa by an ammonia evaporator. The ammonia is heated to 120 by a gas ammonia superheater, and then through an ammonia filter to remove impurities and mixed with air in an ammonia-air mixer. The ammonia concentration in the ammonia-air mixture is controlled to be 9.5%, and then enters the ammonia oxidation furnace. The ammonia-air mixture gas is evenly distributed on the platinum guaze through the distributor at the top of the ammonia oxidation furnace to carry out the oxidation reaction of ammonia. The reaction temperature is 860°C, and the NOx gas generated by the reaction passes through a plurality of residual heat exchangers and coolers to exchange heat. The NOx gas enters into the nitrogen oxide compressor and is pressurized to 1.1~1.2MPa, and then cooled to 50°C by heat exchanger, then enters the nitric acid absorption tower. The NOx gas is absorbed by H2O in the absorption tower to generate a concentration of about 60% nitric acid. The exhaust gas is recovered by the exhaust gas turbine and discharged into the atmosphere through the exhaust pipe. The nitrogen oxide content in the exhaust gas is less than 200 PPM (before treated by ammonia catalytic reduction)
