Isophthalic Acid Plant |

| Brief
Overview This 75,000 TPY isophthalic acid plant was shut down during September
2000. It has by-product of 16,500 TPY glacial acetic-acid. Several major
upgrades were done. The most recent major upgrade was done in 1999, which
included: three Pannevis band filters, two Bird rotary drum filters, three
Turbo-dryers, a distillation column for glacial acetic acid, two oxidation
reactors, and Nash stainless steel vacuum pumps. Most of the equipment
are stainless steel (AISI 316L). |
